Thera had been widowed two years prior, so lived alone in her home in Innerkip, Ontario. She was often checked on by family, friends, and neighbours who were eager to give her a hand any chance they could. The next afternoon Thera’s neighbour called to see how she was doing. Following repeated attempts, he became worried and headed over to her house to make sure everything was okay. After getting no answer at the door, he entered the home.
